Privacy Policy
We answer strangers' phone calls on your behalf, so this page is written plainly rather than defensively. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will answer it directly.
What we collect
When a call is forwarded to CallMunshi we process the caller's phone number, the audio of the call, a written transcript, and the job details the caller gives us — name, service address, equipment and the nature of the problem.
From the shop we hold the account owner's name, business name, phone number and email, plus the triage and escalation rules you configure.
Why we hold it
To answer the call, decide whether it is an emergency, book the job onto your board and hand you a morning summary. Transcripts are also used to review quality and correct triage mistakes.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share caller details with anyone other than the shop the call was made to and the infrastructure providers who carry the call.
Recording disclosure
CallMunshi discloses that it is an AI assistant at the start of every call and states that the call is recorded. Callers who ask for a human are escalated according to your on-call rules.
How long we keep it
Recordings and transcripts are retained for 90 days by default, then deleted. Booked job details persist for as long as your account is active because they are your business records.
Your choices
A shop owner or a caller can ask us to delete a recording, a transcript or an entire account. Write to ahtesham@callmunshi.com and we will confirm the deletion in writing within 30 days.
Security
Call audio and transcripts are encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the people who need it to run the service, and every access is logged.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or how long we keep it, we will email account owners before the change takes effect.
